THE KOGUI

The kogui or kaggabba are an Amerindian ethnic group of Colombia who lives in the northern slope of the sierra nevada de santa Marta in the valleys of  the rivers Don Diego,palomino,san miguel and width.Are about eight. They are organized by towns,in which the authority is the Mamo,a central figure Kogui culture,embodying the sacred law. The language belongs to kogi Arhuaca languages which in turn belongs to the family cibcha.
